Nice thing is no matter what you do the MSD and 12volt coil are an easy upgrade.
As far as the fan, as long as the centerhole diameter is right, the bolt holes are slotted. There are many spacers available. Best bet would be bring the old fan, the waterpump pully and the exact distance from the radiator to the waterpump shaft. Also measure the waterpump shaft diameter. Most aftermarket fans have a 5/8 center hole.
Go to Summit racing.com, search "flex a lite" and then check off $10.00-$20.00" most of the plastic fans and spacers will show up. Be careful if it is a flex fan, they arch forward under high rpm and move closer to the radiator than when stopped you need to leave room. Also, stay very close to original diameter.
Evan, should be in tomorrow as per UPS, just in time for a snowstorm
need advice on which to get and what to do

This is the fan I use. It's rated to 10k rpm and works well. My last ignition was a new distrubritor I got from CDM in 2000 with a Petronix kit #1741 in 2002. It worked very well but I removed the whole thing a couple of years later when I went to crank trigger.
