I keep a BIG one right between the tool boxes, about a foot from the left front tire when the car is in the garage. If you can, and it is rated for ABC fires, get something other than dry chemical, such as CO2. The dry chem makes a corrosive mess if you have to use it. A big box of baking soda is good too, rinses right off.
