When I got my tags it was a toss up between MGKILLR and MGSLAYR. I figured I had a better shot going with MGSLAYR, and I've had that Maryland tag for +/- 14 years :D

Pat, if your VIN is in the four digits you could go with:
311 ####.

Mine would be 311 1633, for example.

Maybe you could ask for A55MAN and tell the DMV it means you drive 55 MPH? They are pretty slow...

A classic plates that were issued and later recalled:

RCHFKR for rich f@cker in San Rafael, CA

There was another recent one in Fl, aomething like SCRWBYA for screw W (Bush)...

I agree with how dumb ones like HOT BMW or KOOLM5 are...

Another inside joke, but if I was to go the vanity way:

CHTRMAN

for cheater man. A play on Fairlady and that the car cheats the appearance with performance...
