I had the same thoughts before sending my unit out for the conversion. I searched and found a few places that listed the Aurora Designs FMR module for about $395. Then there's the work to do to adapt the tuning mechanisms in the stock radio into the module, add the pre-amp RCA output jacks, AUX in jack, bench test, etc. I decided to pony up the extra $50 or so to have a vendor do it for me and ensure it was done right.
