Picked up a set of 200SX wheels yesterday for $40 locally; rough (rusty and all the tires have dry rot) but worth $40 just to see if something might be done. Looks like there is the ~30mm room on the wheel to go inboard with the center if one cuts it out and rewelds. Would still have to have a clip welded on to hold the center cap.

40$ is cheap
Looking at the pictures it would definitely look better if they were re welded
looking forward to see the results if you do it

did you ever end up doing anything with this ?

Also would it be possible for you to take the measurement of the ID at the center of the wheel ( the distance between the 2 arrows )
Thanks

Nothing yet; they're stored for a potential "one day". Trying to get my current build done and I'm way behind. Best I can measure is between 13 3/16 and 13 1/4. See pic.

Thanks
It answers 2 of my questions
1-Stock wheel centers will not fit
2- there’s plenty of room should one want to have the centers moved in to change the offset , based on this picture there’s more than 1 1/4 inch of play moving them 1inch would make the offset about +15 which is perfect with a 6inch wheel
