I drove to Las Vegas to pick up SRL311-00148
660 miles in 12 hours towing a trailer. I love my Diesel F250 and an aluminum Car trailer.
There are a bunch of nitpicking items that I would like to attend to before Solvang.

I wanted to fly over and drive back, but Chuck talked me out of it.....Lots of spare parts that came along.
Hard to stick a rear axle in the passenger seat......no room for the extra rims with tire......

Rebuilt the drivers seat by replacing the webbing.
From what I am told Pirelli rubber webbing is the correct webbing, but I used Two-Inch Latex Elasbelt Webbingso I doubled it up on the center two because of gravity.

Reinstalled the Comp front sway bar. Found JT's Bilstein Yellow shocks with mounting plates on the front, White KYB's on the rear.
I ordered a few parts, but still have a few I can't decide on yet....Tires and wheels are the new big choice.

Ok - novice question - I would have thought the front to back center two seat webs woukd go under-over-under (opposite the outer webs) to help disperse load given that is the primary sitting zone. Is there some other magic at work here I am not considering? Have not actually disassembled a factory seat yet so definitely learning here.
Great car btw. Love the color.

I tried several different ways, did not make much of any difference. I think weaving it should keep the straps from separating, but I tried sitting on it without the cushion and it made no difference. The two that are on the bottom are doubled. I found little in way of how much pre-stretch for the webbing. One upholstery site suggested you stretch the webbing so it can only stretch 7-10% more. I think I am closer to 20%.

New Shoes more like "hand me downs" I put my VTO Retro 4 wheels on today.....I am getting old...my fingers still hurt from the other day.
Had to install 4 new studs on the right rear as they were loose. The wheels fit nice with the narrower RX7 rear axle. 15x7 +12 with 205/50 rears and 195/50 front in Dunlop tires.

Really like the look! One of the most "period correct" looking wheel out there I think.
