Pretty simple swap actually. The spring-metal tab from the steering column that transmits the electrical circuit to the back of the steering wheel just needs to be bent a little bit to have it make contact. There is now a small gap between the steering wheel hub and the plastic column surround that might bother some, I'll try to post a pic later. As long as all the components in the '67 horn button operate properly (I had to rebuild mine), the swap should take five minutes.

Well here's the inners. Notes on parts from top left:
#1 - horn spring (a rubber donut that is now reproduced by Datsunparts)
#3 (o-ring) and #5 (red rubber piece), these are not original, and were being used to replace the black plastic spacer in lower right corner. I figured out a way to repair/reuse the factory spacer.
Lower left - the spring clip that holds the 'd' emblem in place was missing and I couldn't find a wave spring or c-clip that big, so I made one out of a big paperclip.
Both my OE horns are inop, so I replaced one with a spare from another car while I try to get the OE ones working. I'll update if I can bring them back to life.
