Literally broke out laughing.. I can just picture it.. Rolling a couple blocks away from the donut shop so no one at the show gets upset.. Then taillights..lol

As RCMike said, this is the reason why I am hesitant on the SR swap. If I did it, I would then be looking at a Ford 8" rear parallel 4-link with axle mounted watts-link, bigger brakes than I already plan on all around, modified front spindles to bring in more caster and KIA, flared rear fenders....on and on and on. I think I will just keep with the R20 for now. Maybe I will make the monster I have planned in the future (73 SuperBeetle, Tube chassis, Mid engine Audi V8 4.2 Bi-Turbo, transfer case off tail shaft to bring power to front axle to make AWD, and much more)

The R20 will make a great driver. You can trick out the suspension and brakes without the radical mods you listed anove and have a terrifc car. J
