I believe those are the correct ones. As noted, if they are too long they will bottom out and not fit properly. I ran those wheels for years but recently sold them. I had wheel spacers in the rear to fit my flairs better so I drilled them all the way through so the bolt would go through to the spacer. I used the listed lugs on the front. Should be fine. We had a friend lose a similar wheel using the lugs that came with the wheels and I would hate for that to happen to you. Be sure to confirm the thread pitch. The ones that fell off were close but not correct.

Thank you Greg. I have never ridden in a Roadster. Anxious for my friend to get it rolling!

We are anxious for you to do so as well! Obviously, we love our Roadsters... they are very much like a big go-kart... no power steering, no power brakes (make sure they work well!), and not much suspension travel... but it talks to you, does what you expect and does it progressively. A great dance partner for its time and a kick in the pants to drive. I just put over 2500 miles on mine in the past couple weeks, tearing up mountain roads, embarrassing much newer cars (the built and lowered Lexus SC 400 guy couldn't stop shaking his head in wonder during our "race" on the back side of Mt St Helens, even in the straights where he had twice the engine). When the roads are smooth, she rocks. And with the new Bilstein shocks, the bumps just don't matter as much as they used to...

Have fun!!! Be safe!!!

I think the Datsun Roadster is a over-looked car by classic car collectors. My friend was the first one I had ever seen. Had never heard of anyone who had one.

Wait until you guys start driving it around! Not a drive goes by where at least 3 and some times more than a dozen have come asked me/us about the car, told their own personal Roadster story, or even wanted to sit in it and get pictures. I'm not bragging here; there is just something about a Roadster that draws a smile out of people. You also see it reflected in the quality of the people on this great site. They are always willing to help, rarely flame each other (beyond natural competiveness in folks), and genuinely care about this community. You don't see that on most car sites.

Welcome to the family. We're here to help, guide you along, try to keep you safe, and proud to be with us!

Thank you Greg. You are correct, very helpful folks on this forum. A real difference from other forums where members are "snarky". My friend is in the process of DIY refurbishing his wheels. He has to fix clutch next. Carbs are done, new brakes on all corners. The reuse of existing wheels really saved him some cash.

You need to post your location. There may be other Roadster owners nearby who are happy to help, may have parts, etc. The 280zx wheels work well, I ran them for years. Was some struggle to find 4 that weren't bent, and you won't be able to use the center caps on the front. I found some black plastic ones that fit perfectly but that was years ago and just luck. There's a ton of info on this site, posted or stored in people's brains, and ways to do some things on a budget as I have for 32 yrs!
