I know there's some very nice pics from the restored SPL211, but damned if I can find 'em w/ Google. However, here's a grainy one:
Similar to the two-tones on a Austin-Healy's. Personally, I can't see it on our later model roadsters......

The only two-tone paint job I've seen that works is the BRE scheme.

Guess it's actually a 3-tone.
The roadster really doesn't have a good place for color breaks.

Wow, I must have been on the Roadster list too long! You guys don't recall Laurie's red and white two tone Roadster? It has been a while, so I guess it predates most of you. Shifty should recall it though. Here is the AZROC club photo page:

Laurie's car is in the background here:

When in doubt, check Datsunroadsters.com:

You may not agree, but I think that she has a fantastic looking Roadster! She did a fantastic job of making it two tone and looking like it was supposed to be that way.
For photos of 212s, why not go to he source? Edgar Gonzales' site:

Man, you guys are out of the loop! BTW, has everyone forgotten about the Roadster webring??

Burnt Orange!!!
I like that color.
My father bought a burnt orange 66 1600 in 68, when he was 17.
Mom had a silver 67, 1600 bought in 69, she was 16.
Maybe that's why I went to UT. Hook'em Horns.
