Hot off the presses, there will be a SECOND Datsun Roadster at Monterey. Craig Carter's #73 Datsun Roadster has been accepted to run! So we have a race. This car is currently completing a restoration and will be with us on track. Craig is not a relative we just share a passion for Datsuns and happen to have the same last name.
His car, a 1968 roadster, is nicely prepared, has great history, and should be fun to race against, and we are looking forward to seeing multiple Datsuns out on track!!

Word is we are working on a row of Datsuns at Monterey.
We have Adam Carolla and which datsun he brings??? Craig Carter with his Roadster (68 2000) freshly restored, My 67.5 2000, Bob Clukas (sp) and his IMSA Z car, Rob Fuller and his IMSA Z car, and Dave Stone with his Bob Sharp IMSA Z car.

Woo Hoo. I can't wait to see all those Datsuns on track. I have my room for the week already reserved and am just waiting to get my media credentials!!

There will be two roadsters there this year, a silver 68 owned by Craig Carter, (no relation) and my 67.5, Craig's silver car is being completed currently for this event. He will be pitted with Les Cannaday and Adam Carolla.

I just received my media credentials approval! I will be doing a story on Ron and his fun filled race weekend for Roadster Magazine and will submit it to a couple tuner/import magazines as well. I will be covering some of the auctions to fill a section in Motor Sport Legends Magazine and putting together a couple feature articles for the magazine as well.

Well I got my press pass for the raceway and myself, Chuck and Keith are heading out early Wednesday and will be staying until Monday morning. can't wait to see the Datsuns up close in the corkscrew turn!! See you there Ron!!

I have media passes for a couple of the auctions in town as well as an invite to see the new Daytona Coupe and meet with Peter Brock, Bob Bondurant and Allen Grant. It is a media only event on Saturday. I really want to spend most of my time at the track so I can get multiple interviews and a slew of photos for upcoming articles for Motor Sport Legends Magazine.
