They would have had to call the police and an ambulance when they tried to bill me for f**king up my roadster. My car is for stress relief and It's probably a good thing I'm the one that wrenches on it. I don't know about hanging but it sounds like"He needs a talk'in to" and of course I'll be happy to join the posse!!

And after all the drama, the shop owners response...'I have a Masters Degree'. WTH?

Missing lots of parts..Including the battery tie down, keys,calipers, and to really get me going found the new brake shoes I provided were still sitting in the trunk along with the barke adapters..

Going to wrench a bit today to see if I can make some progress.

Been a long time since I updated this thread.

During the past year, I continued to move forward on #565. Car is now a nice runner. Brakes system completed and new ignition switch combo installed. Wet sanded the car and brought back a bit of the shine.


But, it is time for the next phase so it is off to Paint and Body. The Body will be going back to the original Thunder black Paint cide. Should be repainted by the December time frame.

What a world of difference!

SRL #565 arrived back home from the paint shop. Reinstalled stock side trim and restored the grill. New carpet kit, New floorboards and repairs to the battery tray. Threw on a set of vintage, polished Libres that I've been saving for years to install on the car.

Its funny, yours was off the road from '83->'13 (if I saw the timeline correct).
Mine was off the road from '87->'17
