The piping is a Leigh Brooks, "Shifty", approved sweated copper pipe and hose clamp "special" to the heater.
Greg is getting on in years and his eyesight is failing!
Ted.
Mmmm, yes, unfortunate but true! However, I've never had any such sweaty kinda anything on my engine!
Heater? We don't need no stinkin heater! The bark of the carbs keeps your heart pumping and your blood hot!

Some one had a stockpile when they put this car together, 64, 66, 67, and 68! And whatever those square marker lights are 70? Or Z.

you must really want a 5 speed. Not 1 but 2 posts!.
Sorry, I believe Dave has plans to use it.
Ted.
Two posts? You must be seeing double!
I am looking for a candidate U20 and 5 speed for this winter's project. So if you find something rebuildable I'd be interested.
I think Bill Cole might have more than one diesel 5 speed, a nice second option.

Does anyone have pictures of the hard top parts on lock wise? I ended up getting a hard top for my 67.5. Any help would be nice. Thank you in advance.

I can't find images of the front, but the hardtop uses the same latch points as the soft top. The back mounts using a system as shown here. this is the hardtop side, these bolts match up with the softtop tension adjusting bolts behind the seats and the door pillar post.

I use a lock-nut under the mounting clip to control the pressure of the top on the body.
I also use a piece of hose over the soft-top mount so the eye bolt dose not rattle.

If there is still a registry, add this one to the scrap bin.

So it has been parted and junked? I would love to get the tachometer out of it. Maybe even the seats!
