Hey, just a note of thankyou to everyone for their help. It turned out to be a missing heat sheild on the carbs, Carl Jeager figured it out and fabricated a new one for me, now the car runs the same hot or cold. Carl does know his stuff!!

Alright, nice catch Carl. That was one thing I never even thought of a misssing heat shield. It is amazing what that piece of metal does.
