Having met them both, I am not sure who is "special-est" - Scott or Ted.
I would definitely consider them both "special" however...

I know Linda had to shell out some big $ to get Fish to show up,
You know, appearance fee, agent commission, etc.,
BUT he is not getting MY cinnamon roll!
Ted.

Don't worry Ted, there will be enough cinnamon rolls for all.
And anyway we know if you can't buy a Roadster, then you will be buying us all lunch at Neptune's Net!
In other news we have some nice maps for the route on Sunday.
Weather report is 70-80

Looking forward to meeting up. I'll try to to at least part of the run with the group.
The Fairlady Generations group is also meeting up at SCS, then they are going on a different run to a dealership for lunch.

Really pissed off. Battery died. Optima red top that I purchased 5 years ago. Hope you all had a good time. I was really looking forward to the run. Off to O'reilly's for a new redtop.

What a fun day. Weather was great. I managed to get to SuperCarSunday meeting spot about 740A, the earliest I have ever been there. Some of the guys were already there Garm, Juan ,Mark, Shant, Mike. Then Kevin and Denise, Bart and Karen rolled up, a new guy Gary, then Ted in his rental car. Later Peter, Allan who could not go on the run, Tom and companion, Dean himself in his Roadster, and finally Scott, the 30,000 miles + marathon man, joining our group! We hung out and had cinnamon rolls and chatted then took off about 945A. Got some gas and it was off to the mountains. Mike led us perfectly, we got thru the Snake and got our pictures taken, then took a break at the top to watch the cars coming up the twisties. The drawing was held with Juan winning the grand prize of a pro pic from rockstorephotos.com. Congrats Juan! Then a bunch of other junk, I mean prizes, were doled out from the drawing . Amazing how much stuff you can accumulate from Harbor Freight in a years time……..
Anyway, we then discovered that Mark's starter was staying engaged when he started his car, sounding like marbles in a can. After some moderate banging Kevin came to the rescue and whacked that thing a bunch of times with the end of a jack and it disengaged. Some headed back for the other group event, and the rest of us proceeded on down Mulholland Highway to Little Sycamore Cyn Rd and on down to Pacific Coast highway to Neptune's Net where we stood in line but got our orders pretty fast because those folks know what they are doing. It is motorcycle mania every single weekend. Greasy fish and chips were perfect in that atmosphere. After lunch we dispersed. Scott was off to see friends and other commitments, and some of the other guys were going to hang in Malibu. So that left me to chauffeur Ted back to his rental car. He was reasonably well behaved for Ted, and we had a nice drive back thru Malibu and Topanga to Woodland Hills
My car has not been charging but I couldn't fix it yesterday so I brought along a couple of batteries in case it died.LOL Luckily it did not , and I got some troubleshooting tips from Kevin and Tom. Looks like a wiring problem most likely.
Thanks to everyone who showed up!
Pics to follow because it did happen!
Only 2 months until Solvang. Looking forward to getting that driving route set up for the run up there!
Hope as soon as the snow clears for you midwest and east coast guys you can get out there too. It's a beautiful country. Drive it.

A FUN SuperCar Sunday Roadster Drive today.
Thanks to Linda for the organization, prizes and cinnamon rolls!
I was issued cinnamon roll # 0001!
Good to see all my SoCal roadster friends.
Got to ride with FISH with the deer damaged fender.
His roadster handles well and he is a spirited driver!.
Had to get a ride back with my girlfriend Linda in her "well worn" 1600.
I had to slap her hands a few times, She is attracted to us old guys.
Here are a few pictures and a link to them all.
Better for me to post some pics as Linda's might be sideways.
Ted.
