found this car on CL 1969 roadster
owner says he drives it every day.
new soft top, struts and ball joints, replaced rear shoe and rebuilt motor are some of the pros
Some cons is; leaking a little oil, small rust spot om the fender and front bumper. In the pic i ask why the bumper was on crocked and he said if fixed it already. offered him 4200. Is this a fair price. He says he drives it to LA from SD and hasn't had a problem with the car and it handles perfect. i'll be checking it out and test driving it. please let me know what you guys think

It's missing the side trim, so it has likely had some body work along with a repaint at some point. Need more info to judge value. No engine pics, no interior pics.
Key issues to look at: Brakes, Drivetrain, rust/bodywork, tires.
With limited information, I think that is a reasonable ballpark to play in.

Agree, turn the front wheels and get your head in there and look back toward the doors. Same in the rocker panels and behind rear wheel, If it's good in those spots with no bondo or repairs, it's a good sign.
Check the sheetmetal under the battery, it's a hollow box section running from the firewall to the headlight above the frame. They tend to rust on the bottom side. Again, if it's good , it's a good sign
