My GF will kill me if we spend Friday Night at Bob's. Ha ha ha.
She doesn't have the same level of love for my Datsun...or hamburgers for that matter.
If/when it fall between Sun-Thurs. I will be there. Keep me in the loop for this and other meet-ups though.
I can be up for Coffee and Cars pretty much anytime.

Fun group! we had 5 roadsters, I think the most of any particular car.. The meet was fun, a lot of cool stuff came out.
You all need to come next time..

It was really just a matter of waiting my turn..
First the R-power guys did the RX2 thing..
Then the Z32s lined up..
Then it was my turn..lol

Went tonight to the weekly JDM Monday meet..
Stopped in Long Beach to grab a coffee. Had to get a picture of night in the city..
So hanging out at Bob's, enjoying my burger, when suddenly, something rolls in, not into the show, but just into the parking lot part.. I left my burger on the table and went out and met Carmelo and his '68 1600..

The color is a sea foam green, with white vinyl top and interior.. It works really well.

The chrome was beautiful..
It has 2000 badges and embroidery on the headrests, but it is definitely an SPL according to the data plate, and it currently is carrying an r16..
Overall it is very clean and presents well. I really liked it..
Carmelo said he saw my car as he drove by and he hoped I might know where to find someone to help him with his car.. I think I pointed him in the right directions..
After talking for 10 minutes or so, I went back in to finish my food..
I was sad while I was eating to see Carmelo pulling out, but I told him to definitely come back to JDM Monday, so hopefully we will see this car again..
Edit: It was funny to hear everyone's reaction to a roadster with a top. I had never had mine up at the Monday meet so they were all asking if my car had a top like that..
