check 'events' on 311 - don't have to bring your roadster - just turn up and meet your fellow enthusiasts - it's a fun day

What Peter said about finding the line is spot on.. There are plenty of lane/miles I will not drive on all of those freeways.. (like the 10E to the 57S connector.. stay out of the left lane unless you want to fly..)
Also, check that you actually have rear bump stops.. My car came without, and when it bottomed, the jolt was, shall we say, sharp..
I strongly recommend that if you can possibly make it, get to the BBQ.. You will make friends and meet people in this community, and it will make your journey to a good running car so much easier..

Buttasc0ttch,
I have some new Koni shocks coming in late April, along with many other people here. I will give you my KYBs for the cost of shipping when I get my Konis. Right now the KYBs are installed but have 0 miles on them. By the time I get my KONIs (should be later this month, the KYBs will only have a few hundred miles on them. They are the better of the two KYB choices out there.

I went the Skip Miller route...(sigh) should have done that since the start. The car is leaking a lot of gas into the spark plugs and the carbs might need to be rebuilt. Sorry I couldn't make it out to the BBQ I really wanted to roll up in the 1600 but its been out of commission since my last post.

Don't let that excuse make you miss Solvang - just turn up (drive whatever) and get to know your community
