I'm going, whether or not in a Roadster tbd. The 67 is disabled and am fearful how bad clutch chatter can get in the 1600. May upgrade my AAA.

Will be taking the straight 101 route and staying with friends in Paso both Friday and Saturday eves. See you there!

Just an FYI for the way home, Big Sur Marathon is on Sunday, so plan to drive inland or leave late in the day. Hwy 1 closed 6:15am to 1pm, but traffic will probably be backed up well after it re-opens.

I propose we meet in Los Gatos at 9am on Friday.

Location:
Panera Bread
15200 Los Gatos Blvd #100,
Los Gatos, CA 95032

https://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&ci ... l=US&hl=en

When you get to the intersection of Lark and Los Gatos Blvd, just go straight ahead at the light into the parking lot and then turn right (Office Depot will be on your left)

Show up earlier if you want to grab breakfast or coffee.
The plan is to roll by ~9:15 and go over the hill to Hwy 1 via Hwy 17

Based on that departure time, we can estimate meeting times for other locations along the coast.

Confirmed so far:
Mark (datsunrides): Watsonville - near on ramp to Hwy 1 - 10am - 10:15am

Send me a PM to exchange phone numbers, so we can refine meeting times along the way.

We are staying there Friday/Sat night
Spending Thursday, through Sunday there with my wife and daughter. Unfortunately my car won't be done but I can't wait to see every one elses. Hope to take many pictures and get ideas for finishing up my project.

As Dave mentioned, some of us from NorCal are leaving Thursday and some Friday.

We will be headed down Friday morning from the Sacramento area on Highway 99, cut over to I-5 in Stockton then Highway 41 to 46, back to 41 and then to 101. I plan on bringing a collection of parts; brake and clutch hydraulics and hoses, radiator and heater hoses and some ignition stuff but won't be bringing fan belts and stuff that you could probably find at a regular auto parts store.

Also, if you have a GPS, bring it. If you do break down, it will make it easier to find you as we can put your coordinates in our GPS!

If you want to PM me your cell # and give me permission, I'll add it to our list and distribute it to the other NorCal people.

Looking forward to being able to talk roadsters for a couple of days!!

Paul

All I should need is a gas can. My mileage seems to be a bit... shall we say, less than optimal at this point. Cell # PM'd to Paul, I'm down for whatever. Can't leave till 11:30 ish from Paso. Wife has a morning commitment. Will be packed and ready to roll however.

Not going to be able to make it as I am being parachuted into a trial in Texas starting Monday and expected to last a month or so.

Enjoy.

Wish I was there, along side my roadster.
