Happy to help! The reason that I posted that (since you and your dad are new to the site) is that we see a LOT of cars that show up that are nice drivers, get disassembled, and never see the road again. There is one one guy that didn't make it two months before he got distracted and started parting out a pretty nice 67 daily driver here in Florida. A darned shame. Enjoy the car! Get with Butch and Bob and go have fun on some of those Ozark roads!

I can appreciate that. I learned my first go round on my 71' Chevelle that you can't be too ambitious all at once. Intended up hanging like a chandelier from my dads shop ceiling for 2 years while I was in grad school in NYC. Then had to be sold when they moved here to Oklahoma. Loved the car just bit off more than I could chew and never got to drive it but the first time I pulled it up to the shop. Of course stopping was an issue with that one lol. Happy to say, at least, that the guy who bought it already has it on the road again. I will track it down someday.

He's in Shawnee (near Oklahoma City) Bob. I'm all in for a regional get together. I'd be happy to host a meet and greet BBQ, Catoosa is about 1/2 way between Fayettyeville and Shawnee.

Talimena Drive in the late summer/early fall sounds like fun. Also some good spots east of Tulsa.

Drewfes, congrats on getting a roadster. I like the color combination. Of course, I'm a little partial since mine is white/red too.

on my x-country trip in 07 actually made a point of driving talimena - trees were bare - so one could see all the country around - beautiful run - no traffic - top down - wow - imagine it is beautiful year round - well worth the detour to run it.

Welcome,
I like the red interior in a white or black car very much.
It looks to me a very solid car.
