With less than week to go before the event were extremely excited and wanted to give everyone a few updates. First we would to give a Big Thank You to everyone who registered early. Also a reminder to all spectators admission is free! We have more food vendors this time around which will give you chance to eat up and enjoy the show!

To anyone who missed our special guest last year. We’re pleased to announce “Mary” from the original Ken & Mary commercials will be attending the event. Stop by and say Hello and ask her about her recent trip to Japan. Don’t forget to bring your Hot wheels and any other Ken & Mary Memorabilia to have her autograph them.

Also Japanese Nostalgic Car magazine will also be there with a booth. Stop by and say Hello and pickup some JNC gear.


Last a common question we have been asked by various people “if we would allow for same day check-in”? due to last minute builds etc. After giving it some thought we would hate to turn people down from attending. We’ve decided last minute to allow owners who haven’t already registered to register at the door.

Cost will be $12 with check-in NO later than 9:00am.

Guys I am working on a caravan from Z Car Garage in San Jose, probably around 8am. I will post final details tomorrow for sure.

I am sending a list of folks to the organizers so we can hopefully park together but I jus realized that it will be near impossible to coordinate as we all need to stage together. Our caravan from the South Bay should arrive at the show gates around 9am.

Bringing the roadster out of hibernation! (especially since it's supposed to be a glorious day for top down, or off, roadstering) Trying to get her presentable and keep cleaning for Solvang at the show!

Thank you for all that joined the caravan and parked together. I was surprised to see Todd O. and his '68 DATSFUN. The last run we did together was years ago. Brake lights, EMPIs and subtlety flared rear fenders:




Eric also made the trek from Modesto, coming back from the Targa CA!

I also saw Ken's SRL fo the first time since he got his S14 SR20 swap completed by Francis!

Nissan NA interviewed several Datsun owners and took pics of our cars for some kind of dealer PR:
