Cataloged more parts today. I am still missing bolts that are going to be important here very soon.

Dropped off 4 wheels for the group discounted powder coating. And paid for some parts from the CA hoard.

Hello 311's
Yesterday. Finished trial fitting the new carpet set in my 65 310. Started placing the velcro hold downs. I decided not to drill any more holes in the floor pans. I'll probably finish this weekend and start buffing out the body. Hopefully on the road again. Thanks.

Working on the dash wiring and new ez wiring harness for my sr swap car on my dining room table in the warmth of my house. Going to get down to -7 tonight and a balmy 17 for the high tomorrow. Now if I could get the whole car in my house?

Finally...7500 miles away from my cars, but I finally got the fiberglass panels shipped today from that craigslist sale in Texas (that a member posted). In between the 67.5 resto the racecar will finally get repaired!

Sid, when I get back from Afghanistan I'll contact you...Jacksonville to Savannah is too close to not get together (plus I'm retired now...it just doesn't feel like it)!

Cataloged a few more parts yesterday. And still didn't find the missing bits from the block I gave away. Sigh.
Talked to the machinist. Because the head (and block?) has/have been cut so much, the push rods are now too long. One step forward, two steps back. Hopefully have a fix for this already.

This may have to go in its own new thread.....
How did you get it apart? This seems to be an ongoing subject of interest for just about everyone. I'd love to be able to do this myself. I am one of the lucky ones who got a set from Jon before the economy went south.

I'd say start a new thread if you can do some sort of write up. I for one have several early gauges I got dirt cheap in hopes of restoring them.

Just finished putting back my exhaust and intake back on the other day. I had an O2 sensor hole installed in the exhaust.
So today, I refilled the coolant and I ran the car checking for leaks and such. Plated the covers of the headlight and horn relay along with the hydraulic reservoir clamps.
Great thread idea, Tim!
