Thanks, it appears to be the "throttle control knob." I have no idea what that is, so I'll just leave it missing.

For warming up the car, or often used inappropriately as a cruise control... not that I EVER did that...

I live in Watertown, but don't have the space and tools to begin working on the car, especially pulling the engine, which is what I'm doing first. My dad has a barn and way more tools than I do, so it'll live in Maine for a while.

Too bad. I was a neighbor over in Belmont until 7 days ago... There is another roadster owner in Watertown. PM me your private email and I will connect the two of you.

Is his name Andy? If so, we work at the same place, and I've been consulting with him about things to look over on the car. I actually asked him a bunch of questions before I went to go buy it. I've also put my name on the DRONE mailing list, but haven't heard anything yet.

I admit, it wasn't the car that was so bad, there have been many worse ones, it might be the parade of owners from when I sold it, 2 in New York one surley, then the crazy guy in Philadelphia, very anti-social, and probably 2 others before it headed north. I got it on Ebay, did a head gasket, it wasn't much better and SWMBO said "Enough".
Jordan, come to the Brewery in New York, let me know what's missing and I can help with some of it and bring it up, I owe you that much, I made good money on the car when I sold it.

I'm not too worried about it. The engine needs a rebuild and I intend to do just that as my first project. I'll worry about how it looks later. I think it may finally be with someone who wants to make it nice again.

They can almost always be saved. I did like the white interior, and it had a pretty good paint job.
