Not with Roadster owners!!! We're truly a nice bunch of people who love our cars and those who own them. So, not only will you end up loving your Roadster, you will be joining a world wide family with whom you can interact as much or as little as you like, and still be fully accepted!

Depending on how much power you need, and what kind of skill and/or availability to skill you have, there are many options... finding a good U20 (can be expensive to rebuild, but a great motor), a good R16 (another good motor, cheap to rebuild, can be hot-rodded some, and I have some future plans for a turbo R; been in a NOS and Weber enhanced version), go with a KA 12 or 16 valve (no need to mod the front cross member, could be turbo later if needed), or do the SR (more mods needed but pretty well sorted out and supported as you have found).

Hey Billy welcome............I'm in Babylon I have a 68, titled 69 but your more then welcome to come by and check it out. That car in Patchogue was up for sale last year I believe in Nassau County some where, my son pointed it out to me. Let me know how you make out!

I agree. This is the most helpful bunch of people I've ever encountered. No ridicule and no question is a dumb one. Only help and encouragement.
