today I did some glass pearl blasting and after that some painting at smaller parts, I found for me also the right dash color, and I found a nice old school (working)AM radio for 18 bucks with chrome tuning knobs, so I'am happy :D

After a while I have done the chassis, sand blasted and PU coated and the engine is finally running, see link. :D

thanks, this is the chassis ready for installing under the body, I'm waiting for the body protection (valvoline tectiel), I hope I can Friday install the body on the chassis. the engine room ant the trunk are already painted.

the Dutch BBQ is the same as by you, and of course with beer. Image
We prefer of course Heineken or Grolsch beer. :wink:
Temperatures for the BBQ are good last week, about 86 F.

So the party can begin, the body is mounted on the chassis :D
Now I can start with the last sanding parts and than can the car to the painter.
The engine bay is already in the right color,(sora blue).
The underbody is also coated with a wax(tectile) it's necessary in our country with snow and salt on the road. :cry: (not that a want to drive in the winter) :wink:

The radio console is restored, I hope that this is the right color for the dash, only some parts(lighter) has to be re-chromed.
For the fuel-tank I used rubber strips the where used for boats, its a anti slipping material for stairs.
