Hey Bob - Check out this link. I bet you an Aluminum Oil Pan that this is where your flywheel came from... Scroll up a bit to the start of the chapter... Let me know if the link works... That looks like it could be a one of a kind custom!

I have a flywheel that appears to be set up for the same clutch. No markings on mine and the back is machined, not cast like yours.
I don't have the pressure plate or disc. If you figure out what fits please let me know.
Thanks!

That is a cool story - and Bob, if this is one, you have a really neat piece of history!

Yeah, see Page 215. I bet Bob has turned up a Weber Al flywheel - a piece of history in a Roadster - how cool!
Cheers

I know this is an old thread but pulled the transmission on my Datsun 2000 race car and it looks like I have a Weber aluminum flywheel. It also says Datsun 2000 on it. Wonder if there is any information on flywheel parts or pressure plates that fit? Looks like it has a Nissan roadster 650kg pressure plate on it now.

The standard pressure plate works just fine on my Tilton AL flywheel. Along with a kevlar clutch disk.

Response do a DM, it looks like this company, clutchnet.com, is out of business. I bought mine back in 2011.

Where does one get a kevlar clutch disk?

It appears they went out of bizz last year.

I don't know anything about this company ( California Custom Clutch), but they've been around since 1964 and seem to have a good reputation. Here are some kevlar / heavy duty clutch disk options for the early 510's. I believe they should cross reference with the roadsters.

It looks like they also have solid versions of each. It's funny that they show a price and a button for "best offer"
