Yes, i did, it had a rather odd exhaust header set up on it,
It was eventually repainted red, i caught up with it at a local Brisbane car show a few years back, looking way better than when i owned it!

Recently, getting back to the racing, Brian Henderson, in the Ex Jack Scoville No 4, and I have been running head to head in some fairly hotly contested races here in Sustralia, at Eastern Credk, and at Morgan Park,, the pair of us are having a barrell of fun.
Brian was recently in USA, racing a Steve Link car.
Long story short, i could be taking my Australian race car to USA in 2013 to run it at some of the big events.
I have been told some of the USA guys would like to see it in action!

And , Ideaman, if and when you get to Brisbane send me a message, we can catch up, and compare cars!

The orange MGB runs a 4600 cc alloy V8 on Quad Weber DCOE carbs, very trick rear end, 13" x 10" rims on slicks.
Mine runs a stroked/bored U20 on 50 Solex's, all the factory comp parts, 8" wide rims on taller semi slicks/road rubber.
Both our cars are genuine period racers mine from late 1960's, the MGB from a later race period in late 1970's.
We also race with Prod Sports up to year model 1976.

YES i would love to bring it over Stateside, a mate here, Brian Henderson, who owns the ex Scoville no 4 car, went over last year, raced in a couple of events, got the borrowed car he was using faster by around 12 seconds a lap, not sure who or where though!
The logistics of getting a car too and from are a bit beyond me and my capabilities!

Can you provide a link to pictures of the orange MGB, I would love to see the induction setup, neat little motor.
Awesome that all cars are period, what an exciting race!
