anyone know what these loose wires are for?

everything functions fine but figure its good to know what they did go to before I clean up the harness.

these came from the behind the stereo area and ran under the carpet

Image

this one comes out of the firewall and was just wrapped around some stuff

Image

these are part of the main harness that runs along the driver side fender

Image

as are these two

I'm sure Mike can tell you.

The first one is likely for the cig lighter and light in console between seats.

The wires might be for the washer pump. The washer tank and pump reside near that location.

I got the paint fixed up enough to look good at a few feet, its over all decent paint just has the few problem areas from old not so great prep work. so I just cleaned those spots up so they dont stand out and its decent looking untill it gets a proper repaint.

I love what a little bit of cosmetics can do to totally transform a car. Nice quick touches, especially the interior and stripes.

weve got one thats a bit banged up.

he GF dosent really want one tho.... Im think Im going to end up modding i to just make a finishing piece that goes from the radio plate to past the shifter or up to just past the ash tray area.

something I just discovered, after running without a center console for 6+ years. (and being tall)
when in the twisties turning left, you brace yourself a lot more often than you think with your elbow on the center console lid. I am so tall that I have revised by console to have a 3" thick lid, might even put a Ipod storage facility within the lid itself.
Great pics of quickie paint dress-up, and ultra cool striping, I love it.

I like the stripes. Did you use memory foam for the seats?

naw just regular foam. if you use all memory foam it sinks all the way to the seat frame
so you so like a 70/30 split of regular and memory on top.

I didnt feel like finding some thinner sheets so I just did it all in regular foam and bulked it up with extra foam so its a bit more comfortable than the stock foam.
