Incorporating steering stops really made me have to think,,,,

progress

Worked on the brakes a little, got the caliper mod done, assembled the rotors too.

Opening this was a suprise! Several layers of metal to fool with. I cut it just inside the lip clamped it and welded it down. I used a piece of angle, due to the 3 pieces were messing with me,,,just couldnt pull the trigger. The angle looks better too; Alt notch.

I appreciate your compliments. And I am envious of those who drive their roadsters, I want mine done yesterday!!!
It's not glamorous work, I've got a few scars, ruined some clothes, slammed my shins a few times, will be well worth it in the end!
All cut and trimmed by hand,,with the bosch 4in grinder, a 90 degree dotco with 2in discs, a strait dotco, and an air powered dremel, no plasma cutter.
And of course printing and studying Michaels photos for hours!!!

Been there, done that. It's a lot easier with a plasma... but it sure can be done with simple tools if you need to!
