Well, after much work, it lives again! I have had it "running" for a while now, but not driving due to the front disc conversion taking more time than I figured, mostly in tracking down the parts. Last weekend was the first time I drove it with the new engine/trans/brakes. Did a few laps around the neighborhood and double checked all the fastners and fluid levels. I took it down Monday for a new exhaust and then to DMV for tags. This last thursday was the monthly south bay import meet, so I figured it would be a good first road test before Solvang. I'm glad to say that the 120+ mile round trip went pretty well. Made it with no issues other than I think I may have some bad tires as it had an annoying vibration between 55-70 mph. Not going to be done-done before Solvang, but it will be there along with the turbo roadster!
