Great looking cars, wish i could have been there. How about next year you guys come up to Indian Lake and then I will slide down your way? Have set the date for the Ohio Valley Roadster Gathering for 2011. The best way is to post early, Sept.17th Saturday 2011. Come early stay late.

James,
Thank you for organizing the event, providing your home as the location and preparing some GREAT FOOD!

Thanks again!

You're welcome guys :-)

I figured out why my engine was running so crappily after y'all left. I had a coolant leak at the intake manifold, so coolant was leaking out there - and probably into #2 and #3 as well! I got it fixed yesterday - a nut was stripped which I replaced/retorqued. The engine will idle now :-)

Cheers
James

Great news!

BTW: On my way home the outside temperature was great in the mid 70s, with a nice cool breeze. Got off the highway, an low & behold there was a red Triumph TR6 cruising down the road. I quickly caught up to him and dropped in front of him. He gave a thumbs up. We both rev'd up the engines a bit, and cruised for a few block.

Now, here in Houston, this is a pretty rare occurrence of two vintage sports cars on the road at the same time!

Outstanding time we had James! The FOOD was GREAT! Next time we'll have to remember to take pictures of it too. No issues on the sojourn back North, much easier time with the traffic. Cool to the point where my temp gauge was showing a little low.

And yes, I'm re-motivated now to finish up all the minor things that need doing.
