I believe that you are referring to an Accusump. Canton products makes it. Here is the link:

Pretty standard fare for race cars but quite rare on street cars. The price is a bit up there.

Started a bit of research. Moroso makes a manual oil accumulator for about $50.00, trick is going to be having the oil go into the bearings and filter, not into the oil pan. I still like Sid's thought on the external oil line, but the filter would still need to fill first.
I'm looking into solenoid valves so it will work automatically, open with ignition, closed when off.
BTW Pegasus racing has the adapter to go from 1/8 British Std Pipe M to 1/8National pipe F so the factory oil hose can be changed to modern braided hose, or to tap into the oil gallery for a fuel pump shutoff.
Anyone have the part number on the oil tube?
Thanks
Dave

I think the stock rubber hose coming from the block is part # 25079-25900. I don't know if it's available from the dealers, but
www.nissanparts.cc lists if for $ 40.81. Might be worth checking w/ a dealer. Let me know if it's still available. Hope that helps.
Happy Wrenching

If there is a hydraulic hose supplier where you live, take the old hose by and they can replace the rotten rubber. Should be cheap. (Hmmm... Maybe I should offer that as a side business!)

There are many a cottage industry for Roadster and other cars just waiting for one of us to get off our butts and try it.
I'm going over to the enemy. I'm getting a bunch of those "Coffee Can" mufflers and sell them to the local kids to put on their Civics, at a 400% markup.

I'm getting my teenage daughter to be the salesman. Guess I'll have to put a freebee on her Nissan for a demo and cut her in for a %. Funny enough, she has a 92 NX1600, 90's version of the Roadster. I figure if they are going to annoy me with those glorified lawnmowers, I may as well profit!
