Alvin, going to be heading out sometime around 9 myself. I'm sure you guys will catch me as I have a hours head start on you, but my Colt does not particularly care for speeds over 70 with the 4 speed. I have a 5 speed for it, just ran out of time to put it in.
Here she is, ready to go,
See all you other Roadsterphiles there!

Alvin, Mark,
Unfortunately, my Roadster won't be ready for the show. However, I will be flying in Saturday morning from Texas. I'll be staying in Huntington Beach. You guys up for dinner Saturday night?

I may be up for dinner. Kinda depends on how I feel after the drive. My back usually does not do well on long trips. I'll PM you my cell.

Very nice show, lots of beautiful cars. Took me 30 min in line to enter, so great turnout. Perfect weather. Nice to meet some of the names from the List. All the Roadsters represented very well. I'm sure there will be more pics!

JCCS 2010 was incredible. I could not believe how many cars participated, and the # of spectators was impressive!
I am doing a full write-up on zcarblog.com but in short:
860miles in 2 days, lots of J-tin, lots of sun, and lots of good times
Full album:

We left San Jose at 8am and arrived in LA at 12:30pm for lunch. From Westwood we drove about 60miles to Rancho Cucamonga to visit a Z-shop called GTM. Drove back to the Queen Mary from dinner and drinks and spent the night on the ship.
Cars were staging at ~8am and I could tell that this was going to be a huge show..."you're gonna need a bigger boat"!
There 19 roadsters and 61!!! 510s!

Dave and George...after having some Brandy
It was good seeing 311s members and all of the Socal crew, Chris sorry I didn't make the photoshoot I was trying to see all the cars!
Even Dan Zubkoff flew in from Texas!
This Patrol truck was imported from Saudi Arabia!

Enough JDM wheels to satisfy even the most demanding wheel whore...like Vic Laury...proudly sporting some brand-spanking new SSR Mark 3 15" wheels!!
John Morton signed autographs too!
Mazda and Toyota represented with some stunning cars from tasteful to straight wild and zany!

Spectators were waiting almost 1hr in line!

Lots of 1/original owners cars with window stickers and stories etc., I love that stuff!

This kind of showing comforts me and reminds me that yes, even in this dark climate folks are still enjoying their hobbies and interested in Japanese Classic Cars!
ps who's roadster is this?

John Morton and Les Cannaday were in attendance. Even Mr. Katayama's secretary; Johnnie Gable was in attendance as she was hitting on me to buy a T-shirt.
