How well does the Grant adaptor fit ?
I ~ 6'3" and have a 67 1/2 1600 - So replacing the steering wheel is on my "to do" list. How well does the Grant adaptor 4581 that SLOroadster/Will mentioned fit ? Any problems/issues/gaps etc. with the turn signal and plastic covers on the column ? Does it place the wheel closer/farther from the driver ?
Any info from people who have or have had the Grant adaptor on their car would be appreciated.

I'm working on adapting an early Z wood/plastic wheel. It fits on the splines, but the tabs for cancelling the turn signal are 180 degrees off. Looks like I can drill new holes for the tabs. Other than the back being too close to the column surround and the dish being deeper - it might just work.
