Minh,

FYI, I tried ordering one and even though they list them they do not have them nor can they get them. Nice try though.

a little update:
dont buy the grant(4581) hubs if you plan on using a wheel besides a grant.
my nardi comes nowhere near the same bolt pattern as the grant hub.
$30 down the drain.

How well does the Grant adaptor fit ?

Post by RockFish »

I ~ 6'3" and have a 67 1/2 1600 - So replacing the steering wheel is on my "to do" list. How well does the Grant adaptor 4581 that SLOroadster/Will mentioned fit ? Any problems/issues/gaps etc. with the turn signal and plastic covers on the column ? Does it place the wheel closer/farther from the driver ?

Any info from people who have or have had the Grant adaptor on their car would be appreciated.

i dont even think the momo wheels will work on this hub.
i think momo uses a similiar bolt pattern to nardi/personal.
heres some pics of my wheel showing theirs not really any way it can be modified to fit because the hub is too small and the nardi bolt holes overlap the hub.

couldn't you just fab up a 1/4" aluminum plate to adapt the bolt patterns?

I'm working on adapting an early Z wood/plastic wheel. It fits on the splines, but the tabs for cancelling the turn signal are 180 degrees off. Looks like I can drill new holes for the tabs. Other than the back being too close to the column surround and the dish being deeper - it might just work.
