^ I have, they work just fine, I think I paid $70 and free shipping from E-bay. Bolted right in, they seem a touch longer than the rubber, but no problems.

Has anyone tried these?

The vendor is LNF Brakes from Argentina. Add $10 for shipping. One may be better off dealing w/ a US seller.
The Argentina hoses are totally wrong FYI

Wrong for what? I have used them on a '68 in the past and they worked fine.

I also purchased the Argentina lines. The threads are correct, but they don't "lock" into the mounting area above the rear axle. I think the lines are a bit longer than stock. I do have photos of the comparison between them at home if someone wants me to post the difference.

The seller has been informed via email that they are not correct, but he/she still continues to sell them as such.

You can get a firmer brake pedal from these better hoses. Clutch hose and the all important oil line also available. Bring in your old lines and save fitting on oil line.

Do you have part numbers for/from this place Linda?
Thanks!

I don 't. I just walked in with my old brake hoses and they make a new one on the spot in your color choice :) Locally there is a fstener place DMP Fasteners that can make lines as well. Point is there is probably a place near you too. The oil line is especially important as it has a odd fitting so don't throw it away, they can reuse. Otherwise some other adapter has been used by others. See 311 threads.
Orme Bros is familiar with Datsun Roadsters so you could order from them. I had heard they were a supplier for Dean at one time. I do not know if that is true but they are 1/4 mile away.

Hope that helps

Linda

Maybe check with a speed shop for a referral.
Orme is very involved in racing.

Ok thanks. I didn't realize you did a walk in.

There was a place local who told me that could remake my oil pressure line "while I waited". I have five to get done and then flip three of them. This place went out of business last fall. :-( Hopefully I can find someone else local.

The vinyl covering over the stainless is nice to keep dirt out. Mine have the clear covering.

one of the problems I found with the Argentina brake lines was that I couldn't find a way to secure them in the reatainer clip area near the rear axel. The fitting is smaller and doesn't "lock" into the clip. I am concerned that with them unsecured, they might rattle against the surrounding metal

My local guy (http://tnhlakeland.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) said the vinyl covering has to be there to protect the stainless braid from nicks that would compromise it's strength. The vinyl comes in colors, but I went with clear also.

I just got two rear brake hoses and the third hose with the three way connector crimped on for $77.00 plus tax.

The front brakes already have braided lines that came without a vinyl covering.

Typically in the rear there is one supply hose into the tee that is mounted on the diff housing which feeds the 2 hard lines that are routed to the cylinders. Do you have a custom set up?
