This (and the next view) shows that I could have EASILY gone with the available +12 offsets. (Or if I'd gone 6", a +0 offset would work easily... you can take your choice depending on your tire size/needs.)

But no biggee, I still have plenty of thread on the studs to go with 5mm spacers if desired. (Or, at their low pricepoint, get another pair of 15x7 +12s)

But IMO, front size/offset works great as I'm not fond of ANY tire outside the wells and this sits just right for me. (And if I/you were to lower the car, I think these are great for that with no lip interference that I can tell after measuring my available clearance.)

This view gives the overall fit. The rear IS a bit tucked but this isn't my350Z.com where everyone thinks "flush is king". Hahahaha....

Hope this helps someone as I spent FAR too much time on this and other wheel threads here before making my decision. Hahahaha!

I should note that I truly did try to buy some *real* Minilites and Panasports but I picked these up because I couldn't wait for vendor responses (price quotes and such)! When I want something, I want it NOW! (If they ever do get back to me, well, maybe I'll have to buy them and sell these... I have this wheel sickness....)

Here's keeping fingers crossed. I just ordered the same wheels from the same seller for my 68 1600. Went with BF Goodrich G-force tires however. This will be the first time I have had a staggered setup and somewhat question the value of putting the same size tires on front and back as well as the clearance on the rear fender/suspension. but as it seems to be the thing to do on this car (i assume mostly from a visual aspect) I took the plunge. I will update with my experience.

Story time.... I went to the seller (wheelbay) on ebay and ordered the 15x6, 15x7 big cap staggered setup. and the caps they sent me were different sizes! I called the seller up and they explained owners of other car makes that use the same wheels were complaining the bigger caps were too big, so they shipped me small center bore rims with taller caps instead of wider ones.

Disclaimer, I was an idiot and mounted the wheels before catching this so i done goofed but the seller is going to honor the return anyway and is ordering new rims with the larger center bore to arrive just in time for summer to end.

So I was able to send the seller photos and dimensions of our hubs to hopefully ensure this does not happen to other owners. I just want to put this out there to anyone else looking for these rims to specifically specify you need a larger diameter center bore, not just a taller center cap and that you have a datsun roadster so you wont be sent the wrong rims.

Otherwise, they look fantastic on the car and actually make a huge improvement in ride quality - less vibrations and harshness over imperfections in the road. I went with 195/55 BFGoodrich G-Force Sport Comp-2.

Got me thinking, wouldn't it be easier to keep all pictures/info on the the first page? I can consolidate everyone's pictures there, so viewers don't need to browse through 10+ pages. Moderators could then delete the redundant original posts on additional pages. Would mods/members be ok with that?

That would make keeping up with it easier. Then we can know what's new and hasn't been added to the first post easier. Also Thanks a bunch for doing this! one of my favorites to scroll though.

Very cool! I think the stock tire is off, I got the same 175/65r14 in accordance with Tire rack, but that's smaller than it should be.
This is a good reference. (at least matches what I was told to be stock height)

The problem I found was that for the 5.60-14 I found references from 22.96" diameter all the way up to 25.7"
I decided to use the Tirerack guideline based on reputation , If people have actually measured 5.60-14 please let me know what was the diameter and I will adjust the spreadsheet accordingly

I have my original spare still mounted on the rim. I will try to get up in the attic and measure it tomorrow or Wednesday and post the diameter here.
