Thanks SPL, I guess it is a blessing and a curse spend all my time here and with so many projects in my mind when ones done I'm off to the next one. Kind of like Models, the fun is in building them.

I agree. I'm hooked. When's the next installment coming? I feel like I'm watching a Saturday morning car show. Nice work!

I think I watch those same shows - gives me more ideas!
I'm laying out the 4 link suspension, been back and forth up and down to the point I working on this in my sleep. But I think I've finally got a plan and well here goes..... Let me preface that this is my project and if it doesn't work out then I'll change it, so here is my work and my measurements. So if anyone copies this wait until mine is done and go from there. By all means if something doesn't look right then let me know but here goes....
I REALLY wanted to do a triangulated/double triangulated 4 link to the point I was just going to do it, mostly because I'm an offroad guy and that is cool, but I've put that to rest and will be doing a 4 link with watts link.

Wow great job!! I'm watching very closely!! I'm in the very beginning of planning and setting up a tri 4link.
Witch program are you using to set up your suspension? I found an excel one one line, it's name escapes me right now and I've been reading Herb Adams "Chassis Engineering" and old text books.
Also how did you determine your height for the rear to be tacked in at?
Looking forward to more of the Akpilot Show!
Cheers
Matthew

Charlee,
What height did I use? That was a WAG also. With the car not being finished and I'm changing almost everything there was no way I could find the center of gravity or ride height. So before I pulled off the OEM springs I measured the top of the frame height and the rear was 1.25" higher. With Dean's comp springs in the front I put the X brace at level and then put the body back on the frame - too low in rear but looked right at 1.25" higher. From that point I measured the forward spring pad put that measurement into the program and went from there. So yea basically that is the control measurement used in the program as the others can be manipulated for anti-squat.
As for the program I don't know but pretty sure it is from Pirate 4X4 web site. I'm enlisting help from my friend that runs a fab shop for off road.

Alvin,
Yea I'll have to look through my pics and see if any are worthy, most were taken in the dark shop with no thought on back drop. With the completion so far off in the future not sure if will make it, that's to say even if it is worthy of printing, I know in MY mind it is

. I'll send in 6 pics and a link to the build thread and see where it goes, thanks for the heads up.

Akpilot, you are WAY to modest! Your car most certainly DOES need to be in this feature! Good luck!

Decided on a reverse watts link, a bit more complicated than a pan hard bar but hopefully worth it.

Alvin, Yea it pretty cool, hopefully when all is completed I'll submit again for a finished product - well as finished as any ongoing project can be.
I have been working on the car since the photo shoot for SpeedHunters so here is some progress.....
