Wouldn’t a transmission shop know the answer?

Wanted to add some Transmission oil to my 67 1600 before the drive up to Solvang on Friday. I purchased 75w-90 Royal Purple Transmission oil....Doing some research on here it's not very clear if this would work or not. Anyone have a thought on this?

Left to right top row...possibly oil filter housing, fuel pump, unknown, left to right bottom row...water pump, fuel pump, unknown. 4 blueish, carb to manifold or to air cleaner, big Curley gaskets are timing cover and the round one may be fuel filler cap or radiator cap. No guarantees but I think I'm right. Check deans site to confirm.

Thanks guys!
Any idea where to check for the LSD part number? That question never got answered on the last page...
Linda suggested taking it to a transmission shop, but Im likely to take the 4.38 and the LSD to Hoopers here anyday, but I want to know what I have before I go

Yikes, Simon! Skip Miller, Miller Sports and Imports in Pasadena. He worked on Roadsters back in the day, and ever since. Great guy , super nice , rebuilds the Roadster trannies, motors etc. Others will concur.

Left to right: U20 water pump; oil pump; fuel pump x2, goes on either side of the spacer; oil filter mount to block x2 (appear different, but may cover different types?); carb to manifold spacer 2 per throat; front coverboth sides; oil filler cap on cam cover.

Can anyone tell me what size the hardline is going to the oil pressure gauge on a 68 1600 is? The one on the car I am working on is completely missing?

Are the float chamber vents actually needed? I have carbs and manifolds from a '68 and the banjo fittings that a tube would come from are not there, and I know that many carburetors don't have them.

Hood jammed
Screwed.
Lubed all aspects of '70 hood release.
Initially it worked.
Now it is jammed.
I pulled HARD on the 'release' cable - now I have it hanging in the cockpit, almost as if it is stretched.
Tried pushing hood up from beneath car - now joy.
Suggestions??

Brakes on '70
Front calipers have the 'bleed' screw on the TOP of the caliper.
Is this correct??

There are threads here about how to get to the latch from the wheel well or passenger compartment I think. I know it's here, and I have read it - but don't know exactly where - search should be your friend here.
