How fun for you Linda! Wheels look great, and it's nice to hear that Jay is just a car person like the rest of us!

Great day! When we got to the top, I asked the GTR driver if he wanted to go ahead of me as I was worried I had been holding him up. He responded "hell no, that thing is a rocket.." lol

Linda, wheels look awesome, your old ones were nice, but these stand out much better and change the whole look of the car.. Any thoughts on centercaps?

I am researching center caps to see what I might like. I have to measure etc. I have some plastic ones that say Centerlines.....nope, these are Western copies of Dan Gurney wheels, made for Porsche, and similar to mcCafee wheels for VW.
Check out Jay, that hambone, LOL, and you can see me behind him, taken by Victory Jon:

I did nearly 50 miles of autocrossing yesterday. The benefit of being an instructor is that you can take all the runs you want without having to wait in line as long as you have a student in the car. There was a line of people who wanted to go for a ride.

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!

Been below freezing at night here in the PNW.
But, temperature got up to a balmy 50 around noon, so
got the 1500 out for a 2 hour drive in the Snoqualmie Valley.
Some icy patches in the permanently shaded areas.
Lots of the usual "thumbs up" and a guy had to take pictures at the gas station.
I do not put my roadsters away for the Winter. A nice day can happen, even in the Seattle area.

lol I borrowed it from PeterH so I could get a real baseline on a timed track, for some before and after purposes.. They would not let me run time attack without the bar..

I love these tires, this is my second set.. Only problem is they seem to be pulling the pebbles right out of the asphalt, which can be very tough on the GoPro.. From today..

Well, they also want to be warm before they get grippy.. And the brake pads are pretty grabby until they warm up..

Those were beautiful pictures Ted... the car looks great, classy and totally at home. Hope you had a heater, or are running the electric blanket like I do (thanks Linda!).
