All I did was drive to the grocery store for some balloons for my daughters science experiment, but it was a beautiful 50 degrees outside and it was nice to get the roadster out! I have to enjoy every nice day we have left as I finally got the roadster running so late in the year

I drove to SuperCarSunday where I saw Ken from Thousand Oaks (Gokart...) and his newly finished 2000. Congrats Ken!

Post the picture right side up!
Or did you fall down before you took the picture!
Ted.

I'm looking at my Ipod and it is right side up to me. You must have a Windows machine being that you are from Bellevue.

I drove mine 15 feet, got it uncovered top down ready to go and my electrical gremlin came back, no lights etc. so never left the driveway. Time to dig in, wiggling the wires at the fusebox isn't fixing it any more. All wasn't lost, Carl drove down from Watkins Glen and Fish stopped by on his circumnavigation of North America. I give Scott great credit for driving the Roadster around Manhattan, and Carl for doing 500 miles without heat and dropping off parts for Mark, Billy and Ed.
Had a great time, took them for an Italian Hot Dog, local food specialty, the cholesterol should help keep Carl warm on the way home.

It was sideways an hour ago, but correct now. Using Firefox.

As Dave said, 500 mile round trip and had a great time! Nice to meet Scott (fish on this site). I missed him when he swung through Watkins Glen and wanted to give him a couple of upstate NY trinkets. Also wanted to meet the man who could sit on roadster seats for 23000 miles on one long trip. The sandwich was great! On the way home I got off the highway and went country, followed a winding river for about 70 miles. Added 1 hour but well worth it. Sad that roadster weather is about gone. Maybe by spring I will have learned how to post pictures.

Took a drive out to the West Desert of Utah. Stopped by this little mining town.

Went to a restaurant opening/car show..

My brother called earlier in the day and told me his boat was together and he was at the boat races and why didn't I come out?
So why not..
Passing Morongo on the way out of the city..
Moon in the middle of the desert..
I wonder what the speed limit is on an arrow straight horizon to horizon road?
Arriving in Parker.. I wonder what it was like living out there in 1908..
Fun weekend.. The boats ran 336 miles on the river. Amazing race.

Cascade Mts. 3 pass loop #2. 10-29-13
Went for this years last long Mountains drive today. 410 miles.
Beautiful and COLD day (38 when I left the house).
We have had an amazing 4 weeks of dry and sunny (if your over 1000' and above the fog and low clouds) Fall weather.
Soon to end and we will no doubt be punished with 5 months of typical NW wet and gray weather.
I did my imitation of the Michelin man look with 5 layers, 1 shirt 2 sweatshirts and 2 jackets. 2 pair of pants
and heavy gloves. Stayed quite warm.
Another 3 pass loop in the Cascade Mountains near Mt Rainier. S & E over Cayuse Pass, 4100'.
S along the E side of Mt Rainier, E over White Pass,4500'.
Then E and back W over Chinook Pass, 5400'. With my favorite side road excursions.
Borrowed a State truck scale. Love how roadsters fit completely on the weigh pad. 2200 lbs.

I found these winding mountain roads in northern San Diego county, inland about 15 miles. This area was loaded with many more signs like the one in this photo, each one telling me to drive some more.

Friday, went and played a Tournament.. Got stuck in VIP parking again.. Always love that..
Saturday, went to Peter's to pull the motor, then went to Tommy's for some chili burgers.. Linda and I ended up parked out back..
Saturday night went to the monthly Z meet, had a great time..
And got to watch adventures in parking..

The old guy driving had his son come out and drag the car off the rock with a pick up truck.. Then, if I had not been standing there, I would not have believed it, but Pops drove it right back up on the rock.. The kid went ballistic..
