To all Rota RB owners...can you post the weight of the 16x7 and 15x7 wheels?

My 15x7's should be arriving this week from eBay. Will the bathroom scale get the results you're looking for? eBay description says 15lbs.

Speaking of new tires, I apparently had my new Dunlops stolen off my front porch Monday if they in fact were delivered as UPS and Discount Tire says they were. I've never had or heard of anyone having trouble in the neighborhood, but it can happen anywhere. Some said that thieves follow the trucks, watch to see if people are home, and if not just help themselves. I was at the house tues afternoon and there was nothing there. I didn't get an email notice from Discount that they were even being delivered or I would have gone home that night. They said they will replace them, but I hate it when the bad guys win. Worthless bastards. I'm watching Craigslist for a set of 205/50/15s.

So, after reading thru all the Rota comments, it seems like the "best choice" for a simple bolt-on (no rubbing, rolling, studs or spacers) for a stock 68 roadster is the Big Datsun Center cap Rota RB's 15x7 +12 with 195/55 tires. Am I right on this conclusion or did I miss something?

Lots of Rotas at Solvang! Here are a few pictures. If these are yours please add wheel/tire/suspension specs:
David's beautiful SR-powered SPL, with Z32 brakes. He mentioned some minor milling of the roadster hub, not wheels. 195/55/15 tires. "Big Caps" front and rear, for a balanced look.

Owner unknown. 195/60/15 tires.

David's car features our 300ZX brake kit (26mm version) with NO spacers! David's car is fantastic!

What do you think? Gunmetal or Hyper Black on a red roadster?

The gunmetal is gorgeous.. Just my opinion..

They look plenty dark, but you can still see them when the wheel is turning..

I like the black, but they do seem to disappear when they turn..

Very good looking size on your car. Makes the stance and the "empty space" in the wheel wells look just right. :-)

I decided on the RB gun metal in 15x7 and 195/55R-15 Dunlop Direzza DZ102 SL's from Tire Rack.
I'll post a photo once I get them mounted in a few weeks.
