Nice car, love the 21st century windmill pic! How about a pic next to an "old school" windmill?

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

Temps are getting warmer & warmer here in Houston. In the mid 80's this weekend. Picked up the 1500 from storage and cruised by the local car gathering. Parked in between 3 vipers (to the left) and a CRAZY Camero to the right.

Met a guy who lives nearby who attended in his Dodge Charger. I mentioned that I keep my car in Storage and lamented about the cost. He told me he also used to keep his cars in Storage, but it was cost prohibitive, so he bought some 'Land'. I asked him how many Chargers did he storage on the land, and he told me he has 50!!!! Dodge Chargers!!

Richard: I'll be in the UK this week working, but have Saturday off. Can you provide details about the meet...

How about you make one of the events this year with your car.

I have never seen her, so I don't believe you have a car.

Its going to be nice in San Diego for the next week, so it's time to start driving my car.

I had to go out to work for a couple of hours this morning.

I sure love my new tires.
Front 195/50x15 Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec
Rear 205/50x15 Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec

Thanks Alvin!!!!!

The car handles like its on rails. I took an "on ramp" that normally puckers me, without a hint of complaint by the car. I can start to ease the speed up with these new tires.

The car is now roadworthy and I went for three 15-20 min drives around the area. Boy does the stroker have lots of zip. 1600 motor used to struggle up the hill.

The new 50 amp Nissan IR alternator puts out 14+ volts. Brighter lights and power to spare.
66 stroker, almost done.
67 basket case, paint coming soon.

79 B210 and newer and other models. You can see it in the wire harness rebuild thread.

Not trying to be anal here, but if someone chooses the alternator from this Datsun, the last year for the B210 was 1978. '79 thru '82 was the Datsun 210, the same models the EI dizzies conversions are from.

How many amps and its weight? The 60 amp GM swap is way big and heavy IMHO.

Some parts sites will list it as B210 or 210, but 79 or newer. Comes as 50 amp or Bosch rebuilt 60 amp.

Picture of it here: http://311s.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f= ... 29#p101829

It is just a little larger in diameter than the stock alternator. In some other post I show the mount mods.

It was actually sunny for a bit today. Finally getting out on the road was nice.

Found the post of the mod.
