Registered and Room booked.

Didn't see anything on the website, is there a way to get an extra shirt or 2 brought to the event?
Didn't see an option to order extra shirts on the registration page......I may have missed it tho......

Motivation time...

I have heard from plenty of Datsun owners indicating how much they would love to come to the event in Kelowna but this or that isn't done on their car.

Hogwash I say!

Here is my car today (yes it is on jackstands)

I have had some nice new promotional posters designed (just completed yesterday) that I have been getting out to the shops and the largely useless Nissan dealers here where I live. (that second part is another story)

If any of you would like to help promote the event in your area and are willing to hit print and put them up, just let me know and I will send you the file.

The deadline for registering if you want an T-shirt delivered at the event is looming as well.

Time for an official registration update:

There are 33 registered participants (with plenty more still interested and intending to come but not registered yet). My best guess is we'll see about 50-55 when all is said and done and 60sh isn't out of the realm of possibility.

Where you're coming from
Alberta - 13 (Nice showing Alberta. Having to drive the farthest out of this group you deserve a pat on the back but I know there are still some fence sitters out there)
BC - 18 (Way to go BC, but this is right in your back yard. BC, shoot for 30!)
Washington - 2 (Okay you Washington guys, you can do this. There has to be more than 2 of you with passports).

Dave, just was on the phone with Rod at Recreation Inns in kelowna. They still have rooms available for the Datsun group. Don't think the rooms will be held much longer.

Just heard from Rod at the hotel.

Tomorrow is the second cut off (it was earlier). I asked him to hold off until the 6th after which you'll have to take your chances at finding rooms. Kelowna + long weekend + just showing up and trying to find a cheap, available room = FAIL.
