New from Texas
I have a kinda rough but mostly complete 68. As of now the engine is frozen, Marvel and PB did nothing, brakes are shot and it has no top. I plan on a pretty simple build for the wife to drive since I'm working on a 72 510 with plenty of mods planned.

Sounds like a nice project nonetheless, is this a 1600 or a 2000?

Not only help with the Roadster!
I have a '71 P510, first car I ever bought, with an FJ20DE engine conversion.
What mods are you thinking

Re: New from Texas
I'm in North Dallas. I got the car off Craigslist. It's a 1600. Anybody need a transmission, axle or frozen engine?
The Roadster is getting a GSL-SE axle, SR20DE and a top of some sort in addition to taking care of rust and collision issues. The 510 is getting a mostly stock VG30DE, R200 and a Datsport front end conversion as the high points. Both are going to take a few years to complete. I plan on the 510 to be done in about two to three years and the Roadster in about three to four years.

I also have roadster(s) and a 70 510. My 510 is actually in Ft Worth having some work completed.

Re: New from Texas
How long have you had it?
It looks similar to a Ft Worth 510 that sold about two years ago. If I recall, the car that was sold had the engine bay painted out nicely, but there wasn't a drivetrain.

Re: New from Texas
I bought it about a year and a half ago and the previous owner had it since 2005, the one before him had it since 1990, but I'm not sure if that's when the owner bought it or brought it from Hawaii, where the car was first bought. The car was last registered in 1994 but it ran when I bought it. Heres a pic of the engine bay when I bought it.
