Christmas/ Hanukkah etc gift ideas for the Roadster owner
So any good ideas for Christmas etc gifts for Roadster owners? NOT engine parts etc but rather a nice accessory or neat auto related item.

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

Re: Christmas gift ideas for the Roadster owner
I have one and my sister in law sure loves it - she's always the first to claim it if we take the Impala convertible out for a winter drive to see the lights.
I highly recommend it!

Re: Christmas gift ideas for the Roadster owner
I already asked Santa for one of these. Good for roadsters that hibernate during the winter. I like the desulfator/conditioner feature. Has anyone tried these?

Re: Christmas gift ideas for the Roadster owner
Gary,
I have a battery Tender same thing only different. Use it for my BMW motorcycle year around. That looks like a good one it does the AGM and other newer batteries. Im replacing bike batteries every 3-4 years now instead of every 2 years.

Re: Christmas gift ideas for the Roadster owner
We use the battery minder at the shop and it has brought batteries back from the dead to usable. It sometimes takes a month on the charge to bring a battery back to a usable level. We use a load tester to determine battery strength once the charged battery is ready for use. Of course some batteries are too weak from sitting but one that sat for two years came back to life with the battery minder. I highly recommend it!

Re: Christmas gift ideas for the Roadster owner
Just want to remind everyone. Dont try to charge a frozen battery. I saw one blow up in a VW pickup while stationed at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. Battery Acid goes everywhere, It was inside a shop and makes lots of noise too.

Re: Christmas gift ideas for the Roadster owner
I like the California Duster and especially the Dash Duster. My wife took the first set to use in the house.

Blanket sounds good also, might have to get one of those.

Re: Christmas gift ideas for the Roadster owner
That one is definitley for the northern climes, even though it's been hovering around 17 degrees here (very unusually low) here at night. Even when I lived in Madison, Wisconsin, I never needed anything like this, or a block heater! When I first moved there from the South, I was sure I was going to need all of that stuff - not so!

Ah yes, Madison WI, middle of December, 9 o'clock in the morning, temperature: Five BELOW zero. It usually doesn't get this cold until January or February. And even this is rare with the sun up.
