Leaf Spring replacment friction pucks

Post by SABLT194 »

I'm looking for a source for replacement 15/16" diameter pucks that go in between the leaf spring segments. Anyone know of a source for these? If not, I can probably turn some out of urethane bar stock.

DatsunParts.com has them:

NOTE: I bought these, then discovered I have the smaller diameter dimples on my '67 1600 leaf springs. There would be no raised portion to fit into the dimples if I sanded them down as suggested, and I didn't trust them to stay in place with expoxy, so, due to time constraints, I reused the original rubber pieces. Will revisit this later if the old pads become a problem.

BOTTOM LINE: disassemble and measure your dimple diameters before ordering.
