Houston Cars & Coffee - December 4th 2010

Post by datsun65 »

After outgrowing the Houston Uptown Park Shopping area (Was drawing multiple hundred of vehicles each month), the C&C Houston was held at an even larger venue this month.

James brought out his wicked 1969 U20 Solex 2000. Sweet Car!

I wussed out and drove my 350ZR, and also in the photo is a fellow nissan owner with a nice 280Z. There were also, several GTRs, 6-7 300ZX, and even a Silvia, or two in attendance.

Highlights included the introduction of the Hennessey Venom GT, 1200HP supercar

There was a wild collection of many hundreds of exotics, classic, imports & customs.

And....there was this guy who decided to show off (but totally lost it) on a one way highway access road next to the venue. Ended up doing a full 360.

Now James has the real pictures of the meet, I just took the first picture with my Blackberry.

Thanks for taking that Pic Dan - I can't believe I spent hours there (no to mention cleaning up my car) and didn't take ONE photo of her! Lol. Also thanks for the introduction to Powerfab (who is now installing my chrome roll-bar).

Here are some selected pix from the gathering. Full gallery is at:

Wow, so there were some real crap, inconsequential cars there. Looks like an entire fleet of LeMons cars! Hahaha!
(Except for your Roadster, of course!) :smt003

Another favorite in the Houston car scene is this GT40 that James snapped a photo of:

It is a Hennessey built car that has a supercharger AND twin turbos!

Oh....and the custom license plate is 'MULLET'
