Thanks to Ross of Sports Imports and his daughter Elise I am now a proud owner of a 67 Roadster.
Was great to meet you Ross. Will have to drop by your shop to say hi next time I am out that way.

Thanks for the welcome all.

I'd love to get some miles on it but need to get the brake lights working first.
Got it narrowed down to the Pressure switch on the firewall. Pretty sure it needs to be replaced.
I pulled the connector wires off it and jumped them together and the brake lights lit up.

Hope to get that fixed real soon as the temps here are below 50Â°F already and i need to get my drive on while I still can.

Might just be an air bubble under the switch, it happens

Replaced the switch last night and the brake lights are working great now.
Drove home from work at lunch today just to take the car out. Its a balmy 11Â°C (52Â°F) today and tomorrow.
Gotta get my drive on before the winter comes...

I bought a '68 2L Roadster in Lethbridge, AB and trailered it back to Ontario - I have fond memories of looking at that front end in the rear view mirror all the way home.

Congratulations on your new car. Hope you enjoy lots of top down motoring.

I also purchased a roadster from Edmonton a few years ago, hopin to do minor refit and get driving a decent care right away. Found out the hard way my car had been a winter driver during the heavy salt usage period. The body was rusted badly in the usual places. Are you going to have yous under coated?
