ATTACHING EMBLEMS

Post by Scott Smith »

Does anybody have a good idea for attaching the emblems to the car. Looking for a fastner other than the metal push on clips??
thanks

You might want to check out the sheet metal speed nuts that some auto body shops offer.

Here is an example link.

All the emblems on my car were held on with a dab of caulking. I think they probably taped the emblems in place and put a dab of caulking around the tab, from the inside. Didn't look great from the inside, but it seemed to hold well and was probably a very cheap solution. It made it pretty easy to remove as well.

I will most likely re-install with screw on type fasteners like those Ray linked to.

Good Luck,

Thanks for the info. I will probably try all these ideas just for fun.
I did find speed nuts and they look like they will do the trick.
thanks again
