So somebody on the list must know why that Roadster was there! It's next to a car that won "Soul Sucking Japanese Appliance"?!?!?!

Good people of the Group!

I have no idea how this weighs in on the current discussion of Roadster market
value, but I did want pass along that the mighty Roadster has scored a class
win at this year's Monterey Concours d'Lemons!

A trophy of a stuffed bass (sushi in the raw), and plaque from the
'Soul-Sucking Japanese Appliance' class were awarded! Bribes were tough, as
many of the judges were still nursing hangovers from the party the night
before, however shrewd planning (I brought Datsun Roadster tees) and well
placed personal compliments to the judges delivered where sake and SaveMart
sushi failed! http://www.pbase.com/egillis/image/127566924" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

'Worst of Show' was the most awesome 'shortened' VW bus that entertained the
crowd with wheelies in the parking lot, The car was 'sectioned' lengthwise to
remove the side door and put back together. The wheel base length, well, let's
call it short... http://www.pbase.com/egillis/image/127566922" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Enjoy your ride!
